Did someone save the pages of the old forum?
We may post them here, maybe just the most interesting.

I saved some of the material I posted; lots of it was about coal operations, passenger service, Boston and Albany, etc.

Good evening fellow NYC buffs. Luckly I did save threads that interested me, namely Hudson Division topics. Since the start-up or reboot of this forum, it seems kind of dead compared the old forum. I'd been glad to repost some topics and information from the old forum again.

The link that gets you to the old Railroad.net forums is now this:

http://web.archive.org/web/*hh_/railroad.net/

Versions of the forum going back to 1996 are listed. I tried the NYC forum on several of them. Not all the links work, buit I found some interesting stuff anyway.

I remember I had screen name from BC (Before Crash), but I don't remember what it was. Why did it crash in the first place?
