Anyone know if this RDC ran out of Utica, Watertown or Lake Placid ?

Well it would have been CA 1952-1965 if it happened. NYC used RDC's to Placid at least into 1961 or 1962 and they were used to Rome and up the old RW&O to Watertown in the 1950's. The M480 is now operating on the Alaska Railroad and would be interesting to know if it ran north out of Utica as now the Adirondack Scenic operates ex Alaska 1508 (F7).

Interesting switch of scenery for each in any case. I know the M480 (PC 80) operated out of Boston area in PC days but no idea where it was prior to PC or in the pre- 1965 time period
