Lately I've been noticing a few CN trains going on to EJE tracks at Leifton heading south. Where are they going to and how long have they been doing this? Will there be more traffic in the future?

M348 takes the EJ&E to Munger to get to the Freeport Sub, sets out and picks up at Hawthorne and then goes onto the BRC to get to the GT. Not sure which other trains go that way.

I've heard of M349, E249, M342 & M357 using the Munger-Leithton route.
Mainly it is M348 & E249

397 gets on at Grifith, IN and takes it to Mattson to get back on CN track (Chicago sub).
