Nice pictures, my only problem is that it is quite obvious that at least some
of them were taken while trespassing on railroad property and that is not
a good idea.

I have to agree with Noel. The photos are very nice, but it is obvious that you are trespassing, especially in the Haverstraw images. Unless you are with a railroad employee wearing proper PPE, you should not be on railroad property. You demonstrate in many of your photos that you don't have to trespass to get great images.

Are you both referring to the close proximity to the railbed?

Glad to see the tresspassing police are in full force.

He may be, he may not be, some of you never hear of telephoto lenses?

Ironically I was in the new river gorge last week. I was at Hawks nest on the 5th and Thurmond and Hinton on the 6th

Yeah, getting to close to the railbed can be bad, remember that it is owned by the RR.

On the other hand, I am not convinced you were trust passing. I'm a photographer as well and I can see how alot of your pictures could easily have come from telephoto lenses.
