I am seeking any information I can gather about the New York West Shore & Buffalo Railway Company, and the Milton NY Train Depot.

The train station in Milton NY is being renovated by the Friends of the Milton Train Station.
An architectural survey has been completed and the report is near completion
The deed is in the final stage of being obtained.
The building has been cleaned out and restoration work is in the early planning stage.

There is very little information available about the short lived railway.
In 1885 it was consolidated into the New York Central System and became the New York Cental West Shore Railroad.
Most recently the tracks are owned by CXS

The end gable has a cut out two line logo pn the north end gable
" Freight "
" NYWS&BR Co "

There are three other similar depots in NY state. Saugerties , Fultonville and Lyons..

Any information about the station or railray will be greatly appreciated.

Web site addresses or links, photos, information about books or other publications are sought.

Thank you.
