I'll put this here since I am not sure where it falls.

The Evergreen Road Bridge (the hole in the wall) is going to have half of it replaced, which means Amtrak will be shutting down 2 tracks on the NEC through the area. Should make for interesting railfanning.

Watching them slide the new bridge into place will also be an interesting site.

Ah! The little one-laner near Rt. 27? On the way to Menlo Park Mall! I know the place! I'll have to pop over and check the action. Thanks for the heads up!

Watching a bridge being rolled-in is like watching grass grow to be honest. I think the actual roll-in is scheduled for late Saturday morning. For saftey reasons, the police won't be letting people near the construction site or so they claim. This weekend was suppose to take place 7 years ago.

They'll be shutting down that street for a few days as well. There was a story at the Home News Tribunes website.
