I'm still here. I'm also bummed out over the loss of the old forums. A lot of knowledge lost. But, we're all still around, so maybe we're witnessing the rebirth of the phoenix. Time will tell, I'm excited to see where it goes from here.

I'm sure it will be slow going these first few months but I hope things will pick back up to where they where.

It's a darn shame so much knowlage was lost. :(

I totally get the problems with websites, so I empathize with the railroad.net gang. I switched hosting companies, paid the year, and they promptly went out of business. Now, since they are in some type of bankruptcy proceedings, everything is frozen. You may notice the Jamestown Railfan Site hasn't been updated since September. That's why...so it's great this is back up!

So what happened this time? Was it an illegal intrusion or whatever killed the first forum? Or did their provider jerk the rug out from under them? I,m getting tired of coming up on a dead link and/or finding the site was gone.....Again

Dave Becker,
Good to hear from you. How are things down in Jamestown? What is new and exciting? Ready for some heavy mainline action? I understand that the 630 is almost ready for service.
