Do RR hire interns? In my school (Polytechnic University, NY) the closest thing to rail transportation is MTA. Never saw anybody else from RR come to career fair or post their positions.

CSXT for one does hire interns and management trainees in all areas (ops/mech/acctg/commercial) on a regular basis. Being based in Jacksonville, I believe the company mostly recruits from FL/SE schools... but don't let that discourage you from pursuing. You may want to contact the HR dept in JAX about it.

Thanks for your reply. I went on their site, it has a page about internships but no contact info. Job page also has 0 internship listings :(
Is this their address?

That's the address... but sending in your resume, etc. will probably not get any results. If you call, you'll get an operator... ask for college recruiting in HR. Alternatively, I'd recommend finding the no. for Selkirk (division HQ) and ask for an HR rep. Talk to them about your interest, ask for their guidance... and DON'T let on that you're a railfan. They may be able to direct you to an HR specialist in Jax.
