Hi, I'm applying to the CSX school in Jaxsonville and one of the questions they ask on the application is a brain twister.

Why are you seeking employment with a railroad? What are your chief motivating factors? What skills, talents or experience do you have that make you believe you will be able to perform the tasks, duties and responsibilities of a conductor and be able to adapt to the lifestyle required (frequent absences from home for short periods, working
days, nights, and weekends in all weather conditions as required)?

I know why I want to work for the railroad but I just can't put it on paper. If anyone has any suggestions could ya please let me know?

Just as long as you have the $4000 for the school, pass the class, and pass drug test and physical........you'll be hired.
