At 21:26 M427 CSXT 485 got a Rule 241 from B+E at CPF-312 and direction to go down IM-1 and rear end set off west of "no-name," no pickup.
At 21:50 M426 CSXT 488 was told by D2 live recrew at Westford. Both trains got by 126 with no defects.

Sending through jobs down through the pad? Yes the track is better (10MPH) but damn, I wouldn't risk a boo boo and potentially blocking all 3 IM tracks.

At 19:33 today M427 with CSX 476,477, and 884 received a no defects and 330 axles from 126 detector. B+E told them to take I believe IM-3.
At 20:48 they got a Form D from D1 WOR 1 to Burncoat, live CSX recrew at New Bond.

Maybe due to rebuilding being done on the usual through tracks?

How do the switches get aligned in the hill yard? Is everything a hand throw for which the crew must stop and set the switch?

Yes.

Getting from harvard to the old 312 is awfully time consuming betwen mbta, b&e and what ive learned are all hand throws in the hill yard. We will see if csx pushes for improvements as lots of time will be wasted on this short stretch

There is often a utility person in a car who drives around Hill yard throwing switches to help the road crew expedite movements through the yard. For example, 265 can depart off the west wye onto main 2 without stopping as utility will normal the switch on the main once 265’s marker clears.

Shouldn't need to hand throw onto the main did not fix the Camp track?

Earlier this fall I saw videos of the westbound intermodal job backing out of the hill yard on east wye

When 265 departs, the Camp track is often occupied by a large block of Republic trash containers so 265 often uses the hand throw turnout at Moore’s.

Saw video from last night the 426 moving at a clear 25 eastbound at sterling st clinton
Perhaps track speeds are up

It's been 25 through there for a while I think north of Clinton is where it drops still.

Could be. But this train was very long and still was not slowing when the tail cleared sterling st. The head end would have had to have been beyond the east end of clinton siding, which is I think where the division occurred for the two rounds of rebuilding.
