fromway's post mentions building a pipeline from Searsport to Loring. If I remember correctly
there is an existing pipe line between those two points that back in the day was used to transport
aviation gasoline to Loring AFB and was mothballed when the Base closed. There was talk of
converting it to natural gas but I don't know if that ever happened.

Yes, there is an existing pipeline between Loring and Searsport. I don't know what condition it is in or if they are able to change the direction of flow, I was just stating what was in the article. The reporter was probably just writing from info that was in the press release. As we have read in the past, what we read doesn't always happen. Don't hold your breath on this project.

Looked like three of them on an EB through North East, PA at 06:16 this morning. Ex-NS, likely carrying PRLX marks?

Those are Ontario Northland SD70Ms with flared radiators. Evidently ONR is getting into the loco leasing business? That or they just have a big surge in traffic since they picked up a few already.

The first pair of rebuilt NSBR units will arrive by end of the year meaning they will ship soon from Kentucky

CP 8844 and 7015 off today's CP 120 are apparently running through on tonight's EMRY 120, looks like those units can't get east fast enough...

CP/NBS are in a bit of hot water with Hapag right now.... big problems getting containers out of the port and they are behind on production. That means creative thinking and streamlining whenever possible...

Yes, it seems more than one CP 120 hasn't run in the last two weeks, and this AMs westbound was mixed freight with a handful of wells, instead of the usual long IM train in that slot.

More potato moves seem afoot out of Northern Maine. JR Simplot (JRSX) 64' reefers have been seen on CP via the Greenville webcam-- empties moving east and loads west.

The Greenville Station camera keeps referencing Tater Reefers coming through to Brownville. Have any of them been sited up north for loading?

They're already sending loads out, three more went out on today's CP 121. See the "Intermodal to Saint John" thread in the main CP forum above this one in the Class I's section : post1613285.html#p1613285

Do we have any idea where the tater loads are going? Early on there was talk of shipping to the state of Washington to be used as seed, but haven't heard anything lately.

I saw a few cars the other day on 121 with their wraps, can't say I've noticed any others.
