Anyone know what the plan is for a return run? There’s a major snowstorm coming on Friday night and 6160 has no snowplows.

I do know that PR-19 won’t be bringing it back, but having SA-31 pick it up tomorrow just seems counterproductive.

Eot data shows northbound SA-31 approaching Eatontown at 6:15 in the pm. Oh well, no blizzard shots this time around... :(

Returning on the Amboy Secondary with barely an inch on the ground. Good timing this trip...

Permission on Church 3:12 Pm

Permission to open up 3:37 PM

Lined and Locked normal 3:48
CSX 6160 At least 8 cars for Woodhaven. One might be for Marjam. One Tanker for Bel Ray (10 total cars)

Clear of bank interlocking on the Southern Secondary 4:33 PM

5:38 pm SA31 has some sort of mechanical issue and has stopped in between Pine Brook Rd and Wayside Rd…
5:44 pm It appears that they could not get up the hill at Pine Brook. They are shoving back 30 car lengths…
6:10 pm They made it up the hill and are continuing towards Farmingdale.

Approaching Downtown Farmingdale 8:24 PM

Approaching Oak Glen Rd 8:58 PM

Approaching Squankum Rd 9:09 PM

Have we found out who the mystery tank car is for? BelRay is long gone but the tank keeps coming almost every week now. I don't think RR customers are public record AFAIK so this will be tough

@Matt Johnson Nice shot.

@JohnFromJersey I believe it’s someone in the Howell area. I’ve heard there’s another Bel Ray nearby…

Nice catch, Matt.

Ok, Johnny, here's a hint.....the contents of this car can be used for things other than what Bel-Ray 'could have' used it for....
(Can't give it away people, you gotta' think hard for this one)

It’s ethanol, aside from blending it in with gasoline or using it as a solvent I’m not sure what else it’s used for. The question is where’s it being transloaded to?

Approaching Farmingdale just before 2AM. They seemed to have drilled Woodhaven quite fast if they are returning this soon, given the current weather conditions

Passing Main St at 2:09 AM. Pretty late return run, and pretty loud at this hour. Would've gone out to see it if not for being 2 AM, and extremely dark and windy.

Late return runs like this are more common in the summer/warmer months from my experience
