This is a trial of Transatlantic service from Maersk, more details:

You can't double stack 4x20', they can only ride on the bottom as 2x20' and capped off with a 40' or bigger box. That is probably why all the singles, because they are cleaning out the remaining 20's.
No impact to SJ from Suez crisis.
40MPH is speeds from Boundary? to Tarratine crossing. The crossings that have activated warning systems in between are 25 since the circuits have not yet been extended and of course Jackman is slow for the border crossing and crew change.
Actually the day before it slipped by but about 100 containers, mostly doubles and some singles made it across but no one reported it until it hit NBSR on the early morning hours. All MAERSK boxes as well (no 2M or CMA boxes). Some containers have arrived as well via CN to SJ from their inland points, I believe they still have the refeer traffic and CP has only dry goods as of now.
We'll see how well this works... Hapag has not yet scheduled a regular service, but the new Transatlantic service schedules are due out in April.
The last question is will the 142/143 change stick long term or not. I believe it will-- creating the advertised 24/48/72 hours to MTL/TOR/CHI as that is the only train service that carries that capability at the moment. Or perhaps a new '100' series symbol as 142/143 tend to run in two sections now. In any case, it bodes well for improved service, and hopefully more domestic containers out of Toronto and Chicago.
I am told CP is waiting for more trackwork before sending DPUs over the Moosehead, but you can expect that to come after this year's work.
