According to rrpicturearchives, CSX 4850 is the only SD70ACe which was not retired and sold to Progress Rail in 2017. Is this true? If not, then does 4850 still work for CSX today? Does anyone know of its current whereabouts? Just curious since its the odd one out in the list as it was never reported to be sold to PRLX.

While they are a great host site for high quality photos, they aren't exactly gospel for getting 100% accurate lineage or correctly reported reporting marks on every locomotive that has been posted there. It may be that no one has posted a photo of it with those reporting marks or marked it correctly in their post.

Yeah, I know. Some of their information can be misleading including having the same locomotive twice in the database, incorrect locomotive classifications, etc. Although, the site is still useful for finding hard-to-find and recent pictures of certain locomotives, as well as what and where a certain locomotive was from the past is today.
