NYS&W's UT-1 derailed in NY Mills on May 18th while shoving two cars. The train was moving under 10 mph, the conductor was unhurt.

The cars were re-railed early on the morning of May 19th.

Here's a brief video showing the derailment site on May 19th:

Glad the conductor was unhurt, must be something to have the car you’re riding on derail. Have they repaired the damage to the track yet?

When springtime turns the ground soft and mushy, stuff like this will happen. Shoving around a curve with track lacking enough good ties and enough support will show you where the bad spots are. Glad nobody was hurt.
