I heard the NS AC rebuild made with CAF electronics has been testing on WNYP. Any photos? Supposedly testing in the company of NS Dash8.5 8501. Hornell-Olean, or with loads up and down Keating Summit?

A search of sites reveals no private posts of NS 8520. Something will emerge eventually in the main.

Until then, is there any word on the performance of the AC44C6CF and Dash 8.5?

Pics on NSDASH9 show 8520 testing with 8501 (and early 8.5) and 8513 (the most recent modified? 8.5) in a trio set around Olean.

The engine control system on the AC44C6CF and the Dash 8.5 are made by TMV Control Systems which has a field office in Corsica, PA, which is about 25 northeast of Pittsburgh. I'm sure they want to see what their product is doing.

Both locomotives should be mechanically similar if not identical with the same make control units and electronic fuel injection. Can't wait to see what comes next.
