Thanks, David. I've loved the Deltics virtually my whole life. As a very small boy I climbed on some of the production models being built at the Vulcan Foundry, where my uncle was a draughtsman. In the 'seventies I often rode behind them between Kings Cross and Durham, or stood by the lineside in Durham and listened to that distinctive Deltic sound. A beautiful locomotive.

Thanks for sharing that with us . What an amazing model.
I think we are going to see a lot more of this in the future, as CNC Engineers retire , and have the time to do such things. Then , of course there is 3D printing, opening a whole new world of possibilities.
I'm kinda looking forward to retiring already!
