So the ex UP/SP switcher was sent to Greenville along with the GP-38?

Huh. I didn't realize they still had that thing. (or is this new and not the ex-sp engine they had?)

This is the same SP engine already owned (NYCH 2293) which was rebuilt by Juniata in exchange for the other UPY SW1500 which came with the 1133 (both also technically former SP). The rebuild included modifying the nose to remove the housings for the SP gyra/mars light combo. The NYCH/NYNJ still owns the Port Jersey 1197 as well, since repainted into somewhat matching colors.

The GP38-2 Lease unit was back today. Must have went for an oil change/tire rotation/servicing.

Both units were this (Brooklyn) side of the harbor today.
