WNYP operated a plow extra over Keating Summit today (Feb. 4.) It is the first operation of a Russell Plow in several years. Drifts on the Olean-Emporium line were too high to be handled with a ballast regulator. It is still snowing tonight and a second plow extra is scheduled to operate to Hornell Feb. 5. Departure from Olean is scheduled for 0900.

I saw the LA&L 420 & 428 in Lakeville at around 11:15am this morning getting ready to head down to their train.
Looks like the road train start time is still around 11am.

I will be in the Keuka Lake area Sept. 17-Oct. 1.

Is the 11:00 timeframe good for catching action in Lakeville?
Thanks,
Lee

Based on on what I have seen and others have told me, 11 AM or 12 noon is the start time for LA&L at Lakeville now. The train gets to Henrietta around 2 or 3 PM.

The WNY&P ran an office car special this morning (Oct 2.) from Olean to Machias with #421, #430, the Francis J McGrath and Traveler cars.
