PAR 1 to be at "Streamliners at Spencer"

Wow, how times have changed...for the better. I just read that Pan Am will be sending PAR 1 to Spencer at the North Carolina Transporatation Museum for the May 29-June 1 event called "Streamliners at Spencer." The link:

They curently have 16 units confirmed. I love the design of the units from that era...truly unique.

I think this decision demonstrates the management takes some pride in their railroad--for a change. Good for them!

Two wonders:
-How much nudging from The Pony?
-Will the move be powered or dead-in-tow?

i wonder if theyll send the whole OCS and show off the new dome.

i also find it weird that NS 4270 and 4271 are shown but only par1 is shown. why would they only send one of the sisters?
