From what I understand, if we're talking about the former Long Island Rail Road coach, it needs a little clean-up and we'd like to get a fresh coat of paint on it. Lately, it's been all-hands-on-deck to complete track work at Kingston, so fewer hands have been available to work on the coach.

Is that the same crane that is now in Olive where you had to construct a temporary runaround?
Yes, still self-propelled, and stored servicable at the future site of CMRR's Ashokan Station (Town of Olive) alongside Route 28.

I thought there were photos of it being painted, but I looked again and it was the hopper and gondola instead(??)

Those are the only cars I know that got any attention... The hopper and gon were primed and I imagine new paint will be applied when the time comes...

All cars will be primed in the next few months - on days when it is 50 degrees or more, of course. We hopefully will get a finish coat on the 2940 before 12/1.

At Campground Curve, George Peck and his team consisted of Art Vogel, Dave Heick, Rich Desir, Al Johnson, Franc Libihoul and Neil Remsen. They completed primary repairs to Campground Curve and brought the work train into Phoenicia for the first time since we evacuated Phoenicia before the arrival of Hurricane Irene on August 27, 2011. This was done entirely on the CMRR's resources, as the county has refused to disburse $2.3 million to repair the railroad in FEMA funding for Hurricane Irene.

A much deserved "tip of my hat" to the Catskill Mountain Railroad for all the hard-work and
effort you all put in. All this despite Ulster County's antics!
