I recently bought at auction in Barbados in the Caribbean, a bronze bell which looks as though it is probably from one of the locomotives on the train line here which closed in 1937. The connection with this forum is that there were four locomotives on the line which were built in 1898 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia. I believe that Baldwin made locomotives for the Pennsylvania railroad.
This link has a photo of No 3 Baldwin 16331 1898 0-6-0T Catherine which was one of the four locomotives: http://abajantourgirlexploringbarbados. ... -1937.html
Does anyone know where I can find any information that might help me to verify the provenance of the bell?
