When did the big iconic "Pier 7" building come down? OR did it burn down? Trying to date a photo I have of a ferry crossing the harbor, and Pier 7 can be seen clearly in the background, so I know my photo is prior to 1959... Just curious when the Pier 7 was finally removed.

I think it was one of the NY Harbor Morning Suns that said they were doing some work on it and noticed it was in a dangerous state, so they demolished it in 1962 like he said.
