Last night, the 17 of Feb 2012, I was on the GO at 2143, parked on a nearby platform was a VIA train made up of 5 to 6 LRC cars and at the end was a Dome/Park car. Is this a new thing to attach a Park Car to a corridor train, or was it just catching a ride to Toronto?

Also rolling by the VIA yards I noticed at least 8 locomotives covered in tarps, look like they were wrapped for storage or transport. Are they VIA locomotives or someone elses?

VIA isn't announced that they are adding domes to corridor trains, it was likely being transferred to the TMC. The locos stored at the TMC are ex-GO F59s being stored on VIA property until they are transferred to AMT.
