The NYS&W is running an inspection train westbound from Little Ferry
this afternoon. Plans are for a departure around 4pm. Train will
operate to Port Jervis, and then Layover tonight and then continue
west to Binghamton NY tomorrow. Not sure of power. Cars are the 509,
510, 501 power car plus one additional.
Item 2: power report. A check of Little ferry showed the following
power: NYSW 3010, HATX 510, NYSW 3618, all facing west and MU'ed
together. Also on the property was the 3016, which was being turned
to face west(Inspection train power??), and the 3022, 3014 and 2064
were also on the property. Look for power rotation, i.e. the 2064
being traded for a local engine going north for inspection and/or
repairs.
