25A is still around, just as an IM move between Chicago and Chattanooga. The caption in the clip notes these were test runs, and I don't see any symbols on the NS wiki referencing any moves between NJ and GA.

I know 25A is still around but I was referring to the actual NJ to GA intermodal train that ran on the NEC rather than the symbol. Were the tests unsuccessful? Would NS rather run the NJ to GA intermodal traffic on their own network rather than the NEC?

I stand corrected. It looks like 211 goes from Croxton to Inman Yard, 212 being the trip north.

Yeah I see those trains on Conrails Lehigh Line sometimes.

From what I’ve gathered about the 25A intermodal trial train, it was run for UPS or USPS I believe.

I do have to wonder why the NEC routing was eventually changed to just being on 212 and 211? I know Amtrak charges some sort of fee for freights to run in their lines but there must be more to it than that…
