In posting the info. about the Japanese steam locomotive museum, I thought I would also mention that we also have a discussion going about some steam locomotives that were salvaged on the southern island of New Zealand on the Otomo River. There's also the story of one New Zealander in particular who has gone to great lengths to obtain locomotives and parts to restore some "Kiwi" steam heritage.
