New Rule: the "FDR baggage car under GCT"

Over the years there has been a lot of discussion about a baggage car under GCT. What is it, where is it from, did FDR use it to move his limo into GCT or the Waldorf...

It's all a bunch of hooey. As multiple railroaders have confirmed here, sometimes with pics, that's a tool car full of old tools. There was no FDR. That rumor was started by former Metro North PR hack Dan Bruckner. Please, let's let that story die. It's not true and average people believe this crap.

ANY THREAD, which starts discussion of "FDR's Limo Baggage Car" being still spotted on a track at Grand Central Terminal, is subject to swift deletion without warning.

Looks like Metro North took our lead a few years later and put Dan Buckner on ice. Good. What the heck kind of historian tells lies about a very historic building?
