A review of the "roster" page on the Reading Blue Mountain & Northern's website shows some new motive power:
4-6-0 #225 (formerly Railtours, Steamtown, and CP #1098) and
GP39RN (rebuilt GP30's) #2534 and 2535 (ex LETX 2413 and 2435).
I have seen some photos posted online of the 225. She's getting the same blue paint treatment as the 425. I had photographed her at Port Clinton back in May of 2016 and she appeared pretty derelict. Surprised to see her all spruced up. Is this just a cosmetic restoration, or does the railroad intend to run her anytime soon?
I'm assuming the newly arrived GP39RN's are ex-ATSF as were the original R&N engines of that model. Can anyone confirm? Any update as to their status?
