SLR has dropped GMTX 318 at Groveton, looks like they've got some tanks to take south.

318, a spacer boxcar and 10 loaded tanks are sitting at Coos Jct. as of this afternoon.

If the tanks are loaded I assume they are not just going into storage, who is the customer? I was under the impression there were no active customers on this line

Word’s that VRS acquired a new customer in the Lancaster area. No specifics on who, but seems like they take in tank cars so probably something propane-related.

Yeah there was a propane guy chasing the SLR in the Groveton area but they had no interest in performing switching for margin volumes with the 90s. I suspect now with VRS it makes sense for growth to happen on the adjacent lines and SLR just handles the interchange + linehaul.

I've heard it was Fitch Fuel, they're right across the street from the little yard there at Coos Jct.

Supposedly 318 will be making a round trip between Stratford-Groveton/Lancaster on the next SLR runs Tuesday night to do some switching.

318 went down to the interchange a bit after 19:00, SLR 394 was through within the hour to pick it up.
