Camera apparently went down or the feed was restarted, around 15:00 ADT.

NBSR 121 was by McAdam Station at 20:12 with 4 SD70s, 51 mixed freight, 13 wells/26 containers (too hard to tell if the bottom containers are one 2 TEU unit or two 1 TEUs), 11 empty autoracks, and what appeared to be 69 chip cars on the tail end.

There will be a passenger excursion to Saint Stephen on Friday.

I wonder if they'll put the "caboose" on the end to back through town?
  by MaineRailfan

I am not sure how they will run it, but I know they have usually put a unit on both ends of the previous passenger excursions. It would be nice if they fixed the old CP caboose they used to use. They used to use that on the excursions and had it set up so they could blow the horn from the cupola. I think 422990 is the number of it, I know CP renovated it years ago for use as either the CAR or DAR business car.

NBSR 120 was into McAdam @ 06:46 ADT, NBSR/EMR/MNR 64XX/64XX/64XX/64XX, 130 mixed freight(0 autoracks). No intermodal today. Mixed freight consist: 35 boxcars, 2 covered hoppers, 36 wood chips, 40 black tanks, 17 center beams. I think it was this train that on arrival earlier (00:50 ADT) dropped 25 log cars for Woodland.

I can't say for sure, but my guess is this slowdown is a side effect of the strike situation. Happy strike eve, everyone.

NBSR 121 was by McAdam Station at 21:22 with 4 SD70s, 54 mixed freight, 12 wells/24 containers, 12 empty autoracks, 25 mixed freight (looked like all chip cars, last 4 may have been regular high cubes?)

45 high cubes was a larger than normal amount for this train. The Citriodora was just in port for several days discharging break bulk pulp from South America. I think it's a good possibility those high cubes were carrying a good portion of that eucalyptus pulp shipment.

NBSR 120 arrives at McAdam @ 07:56:36, clears the station @ 08:04:35. Too foggy to see anything other than headlights.

NBSR GP38-3's 911 and 917 have been withdrawn from service and are going to be shipped to Progress Rail as cores for the ECO program. I guess plans changed again, as originally the 2300's and 900's were going to get rebuilt not used as cores.

NBSR 120 was into McAdam @ 08:31 ADT, NBSR/EMR/MNR 64XX/64XX/64XX, 150 mixed freight(0 autoracks, 40 hi-cube boxcars, 27 wood chips, 11 white tanks, 40 black tanks, 32 center beams).

No intermodal today, but it appears MSC is upping their game with another service and larger ships (~2x) calling on Saint John. First call will be MSC ANNICK on Oct. 8th. This may or may not mean immediate increase in intermodal rail traffic, but it will increase the amount of intermodal traffic for the port, thereby raising the profile of the port.
