MNRR delays

I was riding Amtrak's Northeast Regional yesterday and from New Rochelle to New Haven and the ride for the most part was pretty slow. Is there any trackwork that is being performed on the New Haven line besides the catenary work on the line? Or was the train behind another train. I haven't rode Metro-North in a while so can someone keep me up to date?

P.S. If this is OT, I apologize.

I rode New Haven Line train #6511 yesterday morning and also encountered numerous slowdowns. The cab signal warning was sounding much more than usual. That, along with having a diesel set and a door problem at one stop, put us into GCT about 20 minutes late. The platform was full of waiting passengers and a crew, as the train was going right back out to Poughkeepsie as #8811. The afternoon return on train #6548 also had numerous slowdowns, but still managed to make West Haven close to schedule.
