For RS-3 fans the tourist hauling Midland Ry in Baldwin, KS is using its NYC RS-3 as its main power this summer. (The ex-MKT re-engined RS-3m needs work, to be done later this year, and the RI E's are not currently used.) So any Alco fans in the area might want to stop by and give the Midland your support. Not many operating RS-3s west of the Misssissippi.
