Metro just announced the appointment of Joseph Leader as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) in charge of rail, bus and paratransit services, effective August 1. He formerly was Senior Vice President of the Department of Subways for New York City Transit.http://www.wmata.com/about_metro/news/P ... aseID=6118 So that's now two folks from NY that Metro has brought on board.
