MARC Camden Line most useless stations: Jessup and Laurel Race Track

Trains Are Awesome looked at the Camden Line recently... and having visited the stations, I have to agree. Jessup and Laurel Racetrack are *useless* now.

However, if that development around the racetrack has a station with high level platforms, it could replace the current station.

Given that this is a freight line, outside of putting in pocket tracks (yeah, right) this won't be high level.

Besides, development has paused here. I haven't seen any news since 2022 about building things up and they started in 2020... so I think the economy hit things hard.

The mockups of the station there showed pocket tracks. Streetview is 7 years old, but regular gmaps shows at least some construction. Does anyone have time to check it out?

I did so last year. Nothing has changed.
