Hello all I am new here and had a few questions for anyone working signal for LIRR. I currently am an appearance in the ibew local 25 on the island, and was thinking about making a switch to LIRR. I saw they had the signal helper posted but a friend of mine said keep an eye out for 3rd rail. It's not that I don't like my job or the work, it's just a tough business to stay employed. My future looks good here but if there's no work there's no work. I was considering LIRR for a better longevity. If anyone has any insight or any advice I would really appreciate it.
