I'm fairly certain all rock is sedentary by nature. The proposed cut stood atop an anticlinal formation consisting of what they referred to as 'decayed rock' that was too brittle to support the cut's walls.

NJT was able to shortened the tunnel to less than 1,000 feet in length as part of the ongoing project, to skirt federal safety requirements for tunnel ventilation.

What progress has been made since June on the new Andover Station, tunnel, and track being laid anywhere?

Does anyone have a guess on when they'll start scrapping the ALP's on site? I want to try to get to them one more time before they go.
