NJT shutdown March 12? http://www.northjersey.com/news/labor-b ... -1.1489552" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I don't see this ending well for anyone. Union finally says enough and walks out. Transit finally relents a week later and pays up.
Citizens get pissed off at union for screwing up their commute for a week, get pissed off at NJT management and the politicians for big fare increase. Citizens decide to drive, making roads a bigger mess and expense to DOT. NJT wants to cut service due to drop in ridership (gee I wonder why).
Rinse and repeat cycle.
