According to Railfan&Railroad's hot news L&NE S2 611 was saved from scrap.This unit was used in Indiana and is said to be moving back home to the Northeast. It was saved by a Historical society dose any one know who?

This locomotive has been scrapped by a pair of greedy business men which broke every rule in the book despite having $$ in hand and a written agreement from the buyer.
