What I meant was no runs Friday even before sundown nor Saturday after dark when other trains do run (those are the hours of sabbath and Jewish holidays)
Monday is the holiday of sukkot so they will start only Tuesday morning.
As for LY officially they do not fly on Saturday or holidays. But their subsidiaries Sun dOr and till recently Up do fly on Saturday using LY metal and crew.
What we call here israbluff.

Finally got to ride the new train.
Jerusalem Navon station is some 80 meters deep which may beat out 191 St on the 1 and Woodley Park. Not sure about London
Had a bit of difficulty loading pics will try from a computer later

First picture double post sorry. That is entrance level which is two escalators down from street.
Then an elevator some tenbor more floors to a mezzanine above platform level
Last view is from one of many bridges. Track is pretty level but topography dictates three looong tunnels and a bunch of high bridges

John, maybe by then they will
1- have ironed out all the bugs from engines and catenary.
(Israel railways director was called on the carpet for a pre dismissal hearing yesterday)
2- have strung the wire to Tel Aviv or even hertzliya as planned.

Opening to Hahaganah station last Sat night.

They said the electric train will be extended to Herzyliya sometime in 2020.
