They seem to be back to running 7 days, ships are consistently calling now to SJ whereas before they were blanking every other on the CES. Should start to pick up for peak season leading into the Fall, but surprising to me how strong domestic has been. The forecast for that volume was always quite low, no more than 100 per week, but we've seen 200+ most weeks with them moving more than 300 this past summer one week as a record.

I believe ONE should start putting some volume through soon, at least I heard some rumors. the AL5 ships are actually theirs and Hapag just grabs a ride.

Something about the AL5 ships that has me wondering about future container movement through Saint John is that the ships stop in Halifax Westbound and also stop in Halifax after Saint John Eastbound. If the company feels that Saint John is doing a good job they may skip Halifax entirely.
For future traffic I would be looking towards the Hapag-Lloyd line that currently is Northern Europe-Montreal. With the older ships getting scrapped Montreal is facing a dilemma.
Also Maserk could add a stop, as could CMA-CGM. MSC probably won't as Halifax has become their big Canadian stop
