Watched #2 leave Vancouver last night(2 hours late), with the entire former BC Rail Pacific Starlight dinner train tacked on the rear...27 cars, 2 units, lots of domes!. Last piece of the once impressive BCR passenger services gone, on its way to North Bay and the ONR.

I have also noticed that the SS Baggage cars are appearing with the short, non disc brake trucks(CN trucks) swapped under them...wonder why they are doing this. Have seen 3 so far.

Also, the former Whistler Northwind Lounge(ex CN coach) is also in Vancouver. it ahs been painted in what appears to be a rendition of the nightstar paint scheme, using the standard Via colours. It is in the shops, Haven't seen it outside yet. Interesting that a "blue" car has found its way back to the roster...

Here are a few Via pictures of that car, Via 1750, Glen Fraser or Glenfraser.

You'll have to navigate your way around after inputting that address...

Any idea what this car will be used for? Perhaps on the Skeena?
