NYC photos 380-402 were take at the Robert R. Young Yard in Elkhart, IN. In two of the photos there is a 'vehicle' parked near the top of the hump on a track marked 'Accelerator Track' on the yard schematic. Does anyone know the purpose of this vehicle and how it was used?

I googled the New York Central Classmatic , the vehicle is a radio controlled hump vehicle , if a freight car stalls on the hump , the vehicle is used to push freight car over the hump . Pat.
