I stumbled across this website while researching another topic today.

I'd never heard of this obscure little line until I purchased a book about midwestern railroading a few years ago. This little line ran in obscurity from 1909 until 1953 (or 1954 depending on your reference). For the latter part of its' life, there was only one locomotive, an ex-CB&Q 0-6-0.

For you modelers who think you don't have enough room for a layout, this 14 mile long line had no turning facilities, so the locomotive always ran in reverse to its connection with the CB&Q.
