does anyone know where or why the eng picked up the name hog and why the enginer is called a hoghead, i was told it was that the oldhead enginer would
not look behind when going around a curve to keep a lookout for hot jurnals and wanted the head brakeman to do this, so because he wouldnot turn his head
like a hog could not, he picked up the name hoghead.. is this true or is it a bunch of hogwash...
