Hoboken - Newark Penn

Why are runtimes over the Waterfront Connection so long? It takes trains 20+ minutes to go between the 2 points. That approx. 22 mph. I get that part of the run takes place in a yard, but jeez. That's a long time.

The run through the yard is done at a good speed 45-50 mph the issue is when coming off of the waterfront line onto the NEC there can be some tie ups which makes the train hold and wait. If there are no tie ups the run can be done in about 16 minutes.
