I was stationed at Hill AFB from 99-02 and had a great time watching the trains. Although there wasn't much activity the Army did regular paint jobs and rebuilt engines. They even have a couple of engines still painted AF Blue that practiced moving tanks off the base by rail.

Anyone know if they are still working or have any pictures?

Thanks

I was stationed at Hill Aug 1968 to Jan 1969 (DOS was to be Sep 69, but I got RIFFED and in the process ROBBED of several summer trips I had planned) and observed from a distance the railroad activities.

Anyone know where the interchange with the UP is/was located; Clearfield?

The interchange with UP is located on Hill AFB proper; the interchange is officially named Arsenal, Utah.
