HEADS UP: Heritage Units on CSX

Did something happen to ScotCP356? Looking at Heritage Units it appears that the Virginian unit made another round trip through western New York...east on a K042 and west on a K039

yeah, I was surprised to see photos of the Virginian unit through Rochester a few days ago, in the lead!
with no chatter about it in this thread at all..

He's also big on runthrough power. I was told the other day in the span of a half hour, there were 4 trains on the CSX main - one with 2UP's, 1 with 2 NS's, and 2 with 2 BNSF each. And nary a word reported here! Maybe this is no longer the "in" source for such things, and others have departed and left us here in the dark!

I knew about it! Don't worry, don't worry! I saw it at Wayneport at after 11:30 on a Saturday Morning, it met Q017, which it was pretty cool!!! There was also a K696 with UP power, 2 AC4400CW-CTE's & 1 UP SD70M, they were ahead of K042-26. I just forgot to post it here that Virginian Heritage is coming back in the lead position! Lol.

But I was surprise that the VGN went back north on a K039! Usually, most oil trains when leaving Philadelphia will head west onto the Sand Patch!

1) NS 1069 (VGN) Leading U-ELUCXP1-34T on the BNSF to Chicago to hand the train over to CSX, this will be CSX K03X, K04X, K13X, or K14X. Location and Time: Galena IL at 845 pm.

2) UP 1996 (SP) Leading QNPCXP on UP, heading to East St. Louis IL to hand it over to CSX, I believe this will be CSX Q372 to Selkirk NY. Location and Time: Gothenburg, NE at 1047 pm.

NS 1069 leading K038-10 through Ohio & UP 1996 leading Q372-10, should be in Indianapolis IN.

K038 with NS 1069 leading went east down the westshore at CP382 this afternoon just before 2pm.

Q372 with UP 1996 leading went through Rochester NY at about 0800. Big train, over 150 cars.

Heads Up! K038-09 with NS 6963 (GORail) 2nd out on the CSX through Nappanee IN. NS 6963 is the GORail special Unit that NS has painted to tribute to GO Rail! The picture below is what the locomotive looks like. Is for those who haven't seen the picture. Picture is not mine btw.

Per TO: CSX K038-09 was sitting at CP 11 on the CSX short line sub, West of Marcy Trestle this morning, in Brooklyn Heights OH. The power for the train is BNSF 4388, NS 6963 (GoRail), NS 8036. Unknown if it's still there or not.

Yes I saw the GoRail!! It was pretty cool!! All the information is below.

So, this morning CSX K649-15 with NS 8101 (Central Of Georgia) is tied down in Selkirk. I do not know when a crew will be called to take the train to Buffalo. This is the trains power, although some of the locomotives maybe taken off at Selkirk.

Central of Georgia sitting under Fremont Rd. bridge in East Syracuse, not in a spot where we can get a picture it appears.

NS 8101 should be returning on this great weekend! The train should CSX K637 (Linden NJ to Chicago IL (CP)). Unknown if it would lead or not.

NS 1074 is trailing on a oil train to CSX, it should be in Chicago right now. Trailing behind BNSF 9925.
