These are the HC assignments as far as I know, number of cars might have changed since.
Set #1 (3 Cars): Train #'s 914, 921
Set #2 (5 Cars): Train #'s 916, 919
Set #3 (6 Cars): Train #'s 918, 917

You brought up SWS.. I have to correct myself on that, as sets 1 and 3 alternate.

Speaking of HC trainsets, just how often do the folks at Western Ave. rotate that equipment? On my recent trips downtown over the last month, I swear I've seen the same three sets with F40's 117, 119 and 120 every time, with 8400 series cabs. Don't think I've ever seen one set (or sets) held captive on one route that long...

Here's a neato HC trainset for you...
Fun to watch, but awful to ride every day, I'm sure.

118 is the usual HC F40 in place of 120, which is probably the back up unit... as for changes in equipment, given that HC runs in the opposite direction as the rest of MILW, I would think consist changes are made on a minimum basis. I personally don't know how often things on HC change. I know BNSF likes to make daily changes to SWS sets, but this seems to not be the case system wide as RI sets stay the same for weeks without change.
