It looks a little bit Brightline, and a little bit Star Wars.

Better late than never! I think they started working on that when I still lived in Williamsburg a decade ago now. I see the system map on the tracker has already been updated - this truncates the line a bit but I guess given the sprawl that is Newport News, there's no ideal location and I can see putting it closer to the airport.

I'd still like to see them create a "Downtown Newport News" / East End station farther east of the prior station.
